We are looking for remodeling craftsman.
Bryhn Design/Build is seeking a thoughtful, collaborative Licensed Architect to join our established residential Design/Build team. This role is ideal for a professional who values the intersection of high-end design and practical execution, and who wants to see their work translated seamlessly into the field without the friction often found in larger firms.

Knowledge and Understanding Of
- Residential Design: Deep experience in custom residential architecture, additions, and high-end remodeling.
- Construction Documentation: Mastery of creating clear, concise, and buildable sets of plans.
- NJ Building Codes: Fluency in documentation, permitting processes, and local zoning requirements.
- Design/Build Workflow: Understanding of how design decisions impact project budgets and production schedules.
Requirements
- Licensure: Licensed Architect in New Jersey or ability to obtain via reciprocity.
- Professionalism: Proven ability to lead projects from early concept through final inspection.
- Local Residency: Ability to commute to our office and job sites in the Hunterdon County / Flemington, NJ area.

Position Responsibilities
- Lead Design Projects: Contribute to and lead residential projects from initial concept through construction completion.
- Permitting & Documentation: Manage the full documentation process, ensuring all plans meet professional and local standards.
- Construction Support: Work directly with the production team to solve field challenges and ensure design integrity.
- Client Collaboration: Maintain a professional and helpful presence with clients throughout the design and build phases.
- Project Autonomy: Operate with a high level of independence while being supported by an experienced team.
